No-Turf Project

UF No-turf Native Plant
Landscape Design Project

This project was co-funded by FNPS - The Villages Chapter and the Sumter County UF/IFAS Extension.  All of the designs utilize Florida native plants.   The designs with plant list are being made public domain and available for free download.  The complete Native Landscape Design Pattern Book is available at our general meetings in hard copy for a donation of $15.

Note: While efforts have been taken to align these designs with current Community Standards rules, currently homeowner landscapes must receive approval from the Architectural Review Committee before implementation.

Landscape design students from the University of Florida Landscape program create Florida native plant landscapes for typical lots in The Villages.
