The Villages Chapter of FNPS will hold its annual Spring Self-Guided Residential Native Landscape Tour on the morning of Friday, June 3rd. All FNPS members in good standing from any chapter are welcome to attend as well as active UF/IFAS Master Gardeners and Horticultural Extension Agents. Everyone should register either in person at our chapter meeting on May 18th or by contacting Jo Hudak at Joannene Hudak by email: fnpsthevillages@gmail.com
To respect resident confidentiality, confirmed attendees will be given two starting addresses and then obtain the remaining addresses upon arrival at either of these locations. Everyone will sign a waiver of liability. The tour will begin at 7:30 am and end at 12:30 pm. There are 13 homes on the tour with two being shown for the first time. Residents may or may not be available to answer questions. Most locations have labels for the plants. Pictures are allowed.
The Villages Chapter is a leader in promoting attractive native landscapes for residential sites that are appropriate for the setting. Our members have more homes on tour than any chapter. Don’t miss this opportunity to see these outstanding examples.
