Lynda Davis

Cuplet Fern Chapter described Lynda Davis as this:

Lynda Davis, Executive Director of the FNPS

“Originally from the UK, Lynda lives in Tampa with her husband and teenage son. For more than 20 years, Lynda has led and advised many non-profit organizations in both Europe and the USA, all of which have faced complex challenges, with a desire to do more with their limited resources. An entrepreneur at heart, Lynda works openly and collaboratively, seeking out opportunities for growth to, ultimately, make a greater impact.

Since joining FNPS, Lynda has worked to quickly assimilate the complexities of the FNPS infrastructure, making improvements to systems, getting to know the Board, team and Chapters—and crafting plans for the future. She has been out in the field, visiting some of the FNPS key conservation programs—even bringing her son along to pull invasive plants. “I have a lot to learn, but FNPS already has a fantastic foundation from which to build. I’m so excited to grow with the organization and lead us to have an even greater impact on Florida’s fragile environment.”

In her (limited) spare time, she can be found exploring Florida’s parks with her camera, kayaking through mangroves, or restoring her historic home.

Lynda brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for nurturing and growing organizations, communities, and of course plants—enabling them all to thrive.”
