October First Native Plant Month
Native plants are necessary for a healthy, sustainable environment that supports people and wildlife. October has been proclaimed "Florida Native Plant Month" by elected officials throughout the state of Florida to recognize the importance of native plants in our state. Please join us in celebrating native plants by attending an event sponsored by your local chapter or attending a proclamation in your county.
