Ginny Stibolt

Ginny is a lifelong gardener and Florida Native Plant Society member. She brings humor and a great deal of knowledge to her presentations. September 25, 2020, she made an onnline presentation for The Villages Chapter on "Maintaining the Florida Landscape".

Ginny Stibolt ( M.S. in botany, University of Maryland) began her professional life as a teacher and over the years has taught math, science, business, and computer courses at levels from 7th grade through college. Ginny has written hundreds of gardening and nature articles for various publications and speaks regularly to environmental and gardening groups. Since moving to Florida in 2004, she has written four peer-reviewed books on Florida gardening, all published by University Press of Florida
