St John's Water District web has an excellent description of Florida's Water Resources. They are planning for the future so we don't run out of fresh water for human, animal, and plant use. You might think it's not a problem if all those "swamps" dry up. WRONG! We all know what happened to Louisiana when they let their wetlands shrank and dried up.
